Well, things have been reaaallllyyyyy busy lately!  Wendy and I packed up and left for Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta at 4:30 am last Monday (3/26).  After 13+ hours of contractions approx. 2 minutes apart, Dr. Roberts finally suggested a C-section.  Everything went pretty quickly after that…at 8:12 PM EST, Lyric Quinn Stevens was born a healthy baby girl at 7 lbs. 1.4 oz. and 20″ in length.  We could not be any happier!!!

Wendy is well on her way to recovery (as long as I can keep her from “over doing it!”), Carter is adjusting pretty well to his new sister (he is learning to be “gentle” with her), aqnd we are getting sleep in 3-4 hour chunks at night now (which is pretty good for a one week old!).  I have put up all of the photos from the hospital and first week of our beautiful baby girl on the Photo Gallery. 

Thank you for all of your prayers and well wishes – they have no doubt helped us to be blessed with yet another healthy, happy, and absolutely perfect (I may be a little biased…) child!
